The RISE Fund is supporting the arts and entertainment sector to reactivate. The program is targeting funding towards the arts and entertainment sector organisations who are seeking to restart, re-imagine or create new activities. The program is intended to assist by providing finance to assist the presentation of new or re-shaped cultural and creative activities and events.


Destination NSW is the lead NSW Government agency for the State’s tourism and major events industry and is responsible for devising and implementing strategies to grow the State’s visitor economy. In creating a safe space for festival goers, Bluesfest has partnered with Australian company Aeris Environmental, who leads the world in clean, green environmental hygiene at events like ours.

Hard surfaces, seats, back of house, skin sanitisers, even the stages – it’s all compatible, and covered in our COVID safety plan, thanks to Aeris.


Byron Bay Brewery is the perfect partner for Bluesfest Byron Bay as after all, the site of the current Byron Bay Brewery is the same property where Bluesfest (back then the East Coast Blues and Roots Festival) started out in its humble beginnings back in 1990.
