Returning to Australia’s greatest music festival in 2026, ‘Chain’ will be celebrating 58 years the since forming in 1968.

Known for their dedication to blues-based original music, they very quickly established themselves as ‘OzBlues’ innovators with superb musical cohesion and the ability to fuse blues and rock styles without losing their raw roots appeal.

Topping the commercial charts with ‘Black ‘n Blue’, ‘Judgement’, I Remember When I Was Young’ and the double gold album ‘Toward The Blues’ is but a small part of their achievements.

These include inspiring the ‘Chain Awards’ for blues excellence at the Australian Blues Festival (Goulburn NSW) and being the first blues act to be included in the national ScreennSounds Archives.

Chain, Matt Taylor and Phil Manning have recorded well over 50 albums and won many awards in their long careers.
