In commemoration of David Bowie’s passing, Brazilian musician Seu Jorge will performs a special tribute show to the late genius, while also recreating the set to his role in Wes Anderson’s film A Life Aquatic at Bluesfest 2018. Wearing his iconic red beanie and sea foam suit, Jorge will perform acoustic renditions of David Bowie hits including ‘Rebel Rebel’, ‘Life On Mars’ and ‘Changes’. His unique versions have become a point of celebration and reflection upon the passing of a creative icon.

Seu Jorge’s recording The Life Aquatic Sessions was given a stunning four stars by the Guardian U.K. upon its release in 2006, prophesising its realisation as, ‘a gently charming set that could become a cult success.’ Little did they realise the lasting impact Seu Jorge’s gentle interpretations could prove to hold, subtly underscoring the breadth and depth of David Bowie’s compositions, even receiving praise from Bowie himself.
