PAUL KELLY recently announced a mammoth regional tour – and it SOLD OUT in just 24 hours! What a supreme achievement!
So, guess what…?
That means the only way to catch PAUL KELLY in the months ahead will be at Bluesfest 2021, where he and his full band headline on Saturday, 2nd of October – the final date of his Australian regional tour.
And with demand for this 4-Day, October Edition of Bluesfest running pretty hot too… don’t leave it too long to decide. After all, waiting for you in just over 3 months’ time is an amazing All-Aussie lineup, superb food & drink, wonderful Byron Bay beaches & hinterland to explore, all topped with the Northern Rivers’ beautiful Springtime weather. What’s not to love… click here for tickets!
PAUL KELLY is a dear friend of Bluesfest and never fails to bring a special performance to our stage. Who can forget his 2015 appearance – when he brought an ensemble of the most talented musicians to Bluesfest to perform ‘The Merri Sessions’ – an absolute show-stopper!
With 27 studio albums, film scores, co-writes, and side projects, his body of work is virtually bottomless and genre-defying. PAUL KELLY is one of those rare artists to spin a long career out of a hunger to explore new directions, from the tender songcraft of Post to the hard-edged rock’n’roll of Gossip, to country and folk, bluegrass (see Smoke, Foggy Highway) and the soul revue of ‘The Merri Soul Sessions’.
He has been coming to Bluesfest since 1999 and returns in October for his 8th appearance.
He’s shared the stage with the who’s who of Australian musical talent – and every performance is special. We are super excited to see our national treasure, PAUL KELLY back on the Bluesfest stage this October.
Joining Paul on the Saturday lineup will be co-headliner Tash Sultana, and festival favourites Kasey Chambers, Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Ziggy Alberts, Chain, The Black Sorrows, Jeff Lang, Fiona Boyes, Kate Miller-Heidke, Mama Kin Spender, All Our Exes Live In Texas, and discovery artists ROSHANI, Lambros. and Electrik Lemonade.
Come and join Paul Kelly and his full band when he headlines Bluesfest 2021 on Saturday 2nd of October.
