"Here at Bluesfest we are excited to be working on our next roll out of artist announcements.

If you haven’t found your favourite artists announced yet – don’t despair – there are plenty of announcements still coming. We have only rolled out two so far and last Bluesfest there were eight announcements.

We like to theme up our announcements – so stand by for your favourites coming up soon. Those of you who love Blues – know this – Blues will always be at the heart of Bluesfest, so stay tuned for more Blues, Soul and Gospel artists.

For those of you who love Classic Rock – our next announcement will be right up your alley.

AND, if you can't make it to Bluesfest next year, we have just launched the first of our sideshows. Beth Hart, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue are all selling very well. Keep reading further down for the latest from Bluesfest Touring."

PLEASE NOTE: Train, who was originally down to play on Friday, advised us they needed to move their performance to Thursday , and have now been in touch to tell us that Friday is now the date! The reason for these changes is due to personal family matters within the band and therefore we were happy to accommodate them.

2nd Announce Artist Profile: KEZIAH JONES

This is Blues like you have never heard before...

KEZIAH JONES is coming to Bluesfest for the first time in 2015 and we could not be more excited!

The charismatic Nigerian musician describes the sound of his latest album Captain Rugged as: "George Clinton sharing a joint with Fela”.

KEZIAH JONES was born among the ghettos and skyscrapers of bustling Lagos, he also goes by the name of ‘Captain Rugged’, his quirky and socially committed double.

KEZIAH JONES has honed his craft of sharing the powerful story of his country, following in the footsteps of Fela Kuti, a fellow countryman and great defender of pan-africanism who was imprisoned several times for speaking against the Nigerian dictatorship.

His live performances are not to be missed and Jones will be bringing his own brand of ‘Blufunk’ to Bluesfest, a fusion of raw Blues and Punk Funk attitude crossed with yoruba rhythms. We are counting down the days until we see this real-life superhero next Easter!
