Hi [Name,fallback=Friend],

It’s what you have been waiting for and now it has arrived: The announcement of the artist playing schedule with times and stages!

Don’t we all just love this moment?

Every year, this moment is highly anticipated and yes, there may be some difficult decisions for you to make.

There will always be clashes at Bluesfest! Some are just unavoidable and may have you running back and forth between stages.

With Bluesfest only 42 days away it really is time for you to start planning your festival experience!

Don’t forget: Some of our very best shows happen early in the day on the smaller stages and you really should not miss this essential part of Bluesfest.

Note: All headline artists at Bluesfest play full shows!

So, it’s time to get your marker out and work out your schedule from our schedule!

The biggest question is: Who is on your must see list? Will it be some of the biggest names in music who will be taking on the mighty MOJO Stage such as John Mayer or Dave Matthews Band on Saturday or Monday? Or Blues Legend Buddy Guy on Friday at the CROSSROADS Stage.

Then there are the newcomers who are set to become household names; 17 year old guitar shredder and singer Matthew Curry from the US who will play Easter Sunday and Monday and 26 year old Belgian/ American multi-instrumentalist Trixie Whitley on Thursday and Friday. Not to mention Valerie June, whose catchy, big melodies will make you want to dance on Easter Sunday and Monday.

Then there is the return of the Juke Joint Stage featuring absolute Blues legends from start to finish.

One of our old time Bluesfest favourites Terrance Simien and his band the Zydeco experience will be bringing us two special shows PLUS on Easter Saturday at 12 Noon will present on the Cavanbah Stage: Creole for Kids – both big and small. If you really want to know, where and how, Creole Zydeco music came to be, this is a ‘not to be missed’ first time ever presentation of Creole Music pride and you know what? You won’t stop dancing.
