This time ... it’s all about the BLUES!

Great news everyone!

Dear Friends,

Bluesfest announcement number 4 will be knocking on your door next Monday evening, 18th of November at 9pm sharp (NSW time)!

So, are you ready? WE certainly are!

This time everyone…it’s all about the BLUES and staying within our Tradition, when it all began 25 years ago, as the East Coast Blues Festival, a small gathering of likeminded music fans in beautiful Byron Bay.

We may have grown over the years and have embraced many music genres but have always stayed close to our roots, so there is no better time to celebrate a real BLUES announcement than for our 25th anniversary.

So, are you ready? WE certainly are! After all we are BLUESFEST but this announcement will not just be for the older folks, trust us, you young(er) ones out there will like it too!

Please note: In true Bluesfest fashion - this will NOT be our final announcement. We have some more amazing surprises up our sleeve and there will be at least one more announcement before Christmas!

Peter Noble adds:

Next week is the Blues announcement which everyone waits for each year and even more so this time, as it’s our 25th Anniversary and we are going to have to stay (extra) true to our name! It’s going to be a real blues announcement for fans of the Blues.

Plus a couple of left field surprises.

There will be around 10 great Blues - and soul artists in it - and I think it is up there with our best.

I don't want to give too many hints - but it will feature Blues artists who have NEVER played Bluesfest before - and a few who are our all-time favourites.

OK - and now on to the 4th artist announcement countdown!!!

Ticket update:

5 Day Ticket :

$625 p/p now (will go up to $665 anytime from now)! There are not many 5 Day Tickets left for Bluesfest 2014!

Buddy Package:

$1,750 now (will go up to $1,870 anytime from now!)

The best value for money is the 5 day ticket

If you know you are coming with your Buddy/Partner/Family member for the whole 5 days and are going to camp, this ticket offers you an inbuilt discount! You can arrive the day before the Festival, set up and get into the Bluesfest spirit, but be warned: Buddy tickets are also selling at a rapid rate and we have already increased our allocation to accommodate everyone.

Single Day Tickets:

The hottest seller is the Saturday ticket. It is currently sitting on $189 but will be increased to $209 very soon.

We have a set (and rather strict) allocation of single day tickets available

If you are coming for only 1 Day of the Festival, and you know which day that is, then don’t hesitate to lock your ticket in now, as prices will continue to rise - sorry everyone, but it’s all about delivering you the best line up in Bluesfest’s history! Single day tickets still available from $169 p/p!

3 Day Festival tickets:

The fastest seller is the Fri/Sat/Sun ticket, followed by the Thu/Fri/Sat. As more artists will be announced the Festival bill will fill up on all days, including the Sunday and Monday, so we are keeping a close watch on all 3 day tickets including the Sat/Sun/Mon ticket.

3 Day & 5 Day Camping Tickets:

Selling super-fast, as everyone is keen to finalise their travel plans before Christmas.

Single Day Camping Tickets:

Still available.

Please know (and we are sure you do):

The best value for money is the 5 day ticket (at only $125 per day) and the 3 day ticket (at $155 per day).

Bluesfest is all about coming for multiple days, how else will you catch all the amazing music already on offer and YET to come?

3 Month Time to pay option:

As the Festival fast approaches, the very popular Time to pay option will cease on the Monday 25th of November!

Right now, you can still pay off your ticket over 4 easy payments, across 3 months, but not for much longer.

Bluesfest Awards:

We are thrilled to announce our nomination for the highly regarded Annual Pollstar Award in the category of the 2013 ‘Best International Music Festival of the Year’ for the second year running.

The 25th Annual Pollstar Awards will be held in February 2014 in Nashville/USA. The nomination marks the fourth time Bluesfest has been nominated for the prestigious award and the 24th Annual Bluesfest has been nominated alongside worldwide heavyweights including the Glastonbury Festival (UK), Lollapalooza Chile (Chile), Rock in Rio (Brazil), Roskilde Festival (Denmark) and Tomorrowland (Belgium). It does not get more international than that and we are very proud!
