BONNIE RAITT scored her 10th Grammy ....  yes .... her TENTH GRAMMY !!!
Her 19th album, SLIPSTREAM, took out the Grammy  for ‘Best Americana Album’.  Apart from playing the 24th Bluesfest she visits Adelaide’s Thebby Theatre, The Enmore in Sydney and the State Theatre in Melbourne – supported all the way down the line with the voice and soul of the legendary Staples Singers, Mavis Staples.

JIMMY CLIFF – picked up the ‘Best Reggae Album’ award for ‘Rebirth’ – a stunning collaboration with Tim Armstrong, frontman for punk-rock band Rancid. ‘Rebirth’ brings classics like The Clash’s ‘Guns Of Brixton’ alongside new masterful reggae songs like “one More’ and ‘Reggae Music’. Your chance to catch the undisputed King of Reggae is here :

Finally – ZAC BROWN BAND grabbed their second Grammy. First one was for ‘Best New Artist’ in 2010 – this time it’s for ‘Best Country Album’... Yeehaaaar !!!

CONGRATULATIONS !! to all three successful Grammy winners – and also to The Lumineers and Ruthie Foster who were nominated but were unlucky ... we still love them though – and are excited to welcome them to Bluesfest!
