The Bluesfest site is almost ready… and THE BIG TOPS are up! 🎪
While the festival grounds are still damp from the rainfall we’ve been having in the Byron Bay region, we are hoping the sunshine on the forecast for the rest of the week will dry it out by festival time! But be sure to pack appropriately for all possible weather conditions.Â
The list below is jam-packed with info for you – from how to get there, what to bring, what not to bring… and absolutely everything and anything you may have forgotten!Â
YOUR BLUESFEST E-TICKET
Most important! – all tickets have now been sent out via Moshtix. Go to your emails now and check… they may be hiding in your junk mail!
YOUR PHOTO ID
You will need it – no excuses! Photo ID is required for age and name verification and for entry by e-ticket holders or on-demand.
Alcohol is only permitted to those who are 18+ with an Adult ticket and a valid photo ID.
REUSABLE WATER BOTTLES
Please bring your empty reusable water bottles. Free water stations are across the festival. You can purchase $1 filtered refills from all coffee stalls. Bottled water is also available for purchase. No glass!
GETTING TO BLUESFEST
However you are travelling, ensure you have your travel tickets ready! If you are planning on driving yourself to the festival you must pre-purchase day parking or multi-day parking tickets before you arrive… and pop a print out on your dashboard! We do recommend carpooling (or take the bus) wherever possible to help minimise traffic.
AVOID THE FUSS AND TAKE THE BUS!
Without a doubt, we always recommend the best way to travel to the festival is via the organised local buses and shuttles! Head to our ‘Getting To Bluesfest’ website for all the info and tips you need.
ROAD TRIPPING TO BYRON?
Snacks? – check! Planned route? – check! Bluesfest playlist?… We have an official Spotify Bluesfest 2021 playlist – and a few others special ones like Boost Your Mood (full of party tracks), Roots & Chill, Old School & Blues, and a playlist of Live tracks from various Bluesfest 2021 artists. Remember Bluesfesters, don’t drive while tired… take that break… you’ve got 5 days and nights of music ahead of you… drive to stay alive.

FESTIVAL OUTFIT
Don’t forget those outfits you have been waiting for over a year to wear. We can’t wait to see them.
Bring protection for all the elements… sunscreen and hats for the sunshine, something warm for the evenings, and ponchos and gumboots for the possible rain!

CAMPING NEEDS
Tents, sleeping mats, camping pillows – and whatever else you need for the perfect night’s sleep. Bring appropriate camping gear for all weather conditions! With possible downfall, it’s handy to have extra tarps to keep raised off the wet grounds.
LEAVE BEHIND!
• Chairs • Alcohol & Illicit substances – drug detection dogs will be present during the festival • Unsealed bottles • Glass

PARKING PASSES
Okay we know we keep saying it… But be warned! There may be queues of two hours to process your entry if you have not pre-purchased your daily or multi-day car parking. Don’t forget to print it out and pop it on your dashboard.
