It’s the moment everyone in our industry has all been waiting for.
The NSW government announced this morning the easing of a raft of pandemic restrictions, with the first lot for hospitality and live music venues lifting this Friday, 18th of Feb.
Restrictions (like the attendee cap, and no singing or dancing*) for major events WILL BE SCRAPPED as of Friday, 25th of Feb!
We can’t wait to have the opportunity to present Bluesfest in a way that can be as close to a “normal” festival as we can this year.
As you cannot dance while seated, we believe this means the “fully-seated” requirement has also been lifted. We are currently checking that this is indeed the case. Either way, we will be providing plenty of seating at the festival as we do at our regular festivals.
Wow! This news has lifted us up even higher than we already were.
