Festival Overview

Bluesfest have built a reputation for not only the incredible music but also for the great quality market Stalls that offer original and colourful designs.

Bluesfest is a 5 day Festival held during the Easter weekend from Thursday 5th April until Monday 9th April 2012. Located at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm, Byron Bay, with on site camping and up to 17,500 tickets available per day Bluesfest offer a captive market for each of the Stallholders accepted.

  • Confirmation of successful application will be on or before 15th January 2012
  • Full payment must be received before 15 February 2012 to secure your position on site.

2. Goods Sold

Australian arts, Australian handcrafted goods and handmade products will have priority over Australian designed but overseas fabricated or completely imported merchandise.

Please attach a separate, complete list of products & photos of the goods that you will be selling, indicating the category of fabrication.
(See Terms and Conditions for restrictions).

3. Stalls

Please provide hard copies of photos/artist impressions of the Stall & layout
Stall Sizes:

  • 3 x 3m.
  • 3 x 6m.
  • 6 x 3m.

Colourful Stalls are encouraged. Business name signage is required.
Note all marquees, floors are included in the Stall fee.

4. Fees and Charges

a. Stall Fees

Please note that the cost for a Stall is aligned to the category of goods to be sold and includes, power, Stall & floor hire plus installation

Category 1:
Australian art and Australian handmade/crafted products

  • 3x3m: $2,398.00 inc. GST
  • 3x6m / 6x3m: $3,837.00 inc. GST

Category 2:
Australian designed but overseas manufactured products

  • 3x3m: $2,629.00 inc. GST
  • 3x6m / 6x3m: $3,953.00 inc. GST

Category 3:
Other products and/or imported merchandise

  • 3x3m: $2,750.00 inc. GST
  • 3x6m / 6x3m: $4,068.00 inc. GST

The Stall fee includes an electricity and garbage component. Sizes are subject to site layout and availability with a minimum number of 3x6m & 6x3m stalls available.

b. Staff Tickets

As in the past year 2 x Owner/Operator 5-day tickets are included in the Stall Fee.
Please refer to the below schedule for additional staff tickets and note that these tickets are not refundable.

c. Garbage and recycling

The Festival encourages environmentally friendly/re-cycle practises that have minimal effect on the environment.

IMPORTANT: Please note the following:

  • ONLY bio-degradable paper, plastic or cloth carry bags to be used

This is a waste wise event and we are a Disposable Plastic Bag Free Zone

No waste to be left on Site when departing or bond will be deducted.

d. Stall Fee Calculation

Full payment of Market Stall Fee is required before 15th February 2012 by cheque payable to Bluesfest Pty Ltd. or

e. Deposit/Bond

All Market Stall applications must include a $300 cheque as Deposit/Bond. See Terms and Conditions for further details.

5. Terms and Conditions sign off

A binding agreement between Bluesfest Pty Ltd and the Stall applicant exists when the following conditions have occurred:
Stall Holder

  • has paid Deposit/ Bond
  • is notified by the Festival in writing of acceptance.
  • has received a Festival Market Stall Registration number

I, the undersigned, have read, understood and accepted all Terms and Conditions relating to Market Stall applications and I agree to comply with same Terms and Conditions. All information that I have given on this form is true and correct.

I, as the owner of the Market Stall, hereby indemnify Bluesfest Pty Ltd for any loss, damage, liability or any other action in any way resulting from my Market Stall application or use of my Market Stall Site area.
