Festival Overview
Bluesfest aim to attract a diverse range of Market Stalls that offer a variety of colourful quality products at affordable prices. Consideration is taken when selecting stalls to support products that are locally designed and made and using natural materials.
The festival runs for the 5 days of the Easter weekend from Thursday 1st April until Monday 5th April 2010. Now held at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm, Byron Bay, with on site camping and up to 17,500 tickets available per day Bluesfest offer a captive market for each of the stallholders accepted.

2. Goods Sold
Australian arts, Australian handcrafted goods and handmade products will have priority over Australian designed but overseas fabricated or completely imported merchandise.
Please attach a separate, complete list of products & photos of the goods that you will be selling, indicating the category of fabrication.
(See Terms and Conditions for restrictions).
3. Stalls
Due to space limitations only 3.00m x 3.00m stall sites are available. Colourful stalls with name banners are encouraged.
Please provide photos/artist impressions of the stall with separate email
b. Garbage and recycling
Reduce - Reuse - Recycle!
This is a waste wise event and we are a Disposable Plastic Bag Free Zone.
The Festival encourages environmentally friendly/re-cycle practises that have minimal effect on the environment.
IMPORTANT: Please note the following:
- ONLY bio-degradable paper, plastic or cloth bags to be used
No waste to be left on Site when departing or bond will be deducted.
4. Fees and Charges
a. Stall Fees
Please note that the cost for a 3m x 3m Stall is aligned to the category of goods to be sold.
Category 1:
Australian art and Australian handmade/crafted products $1,600 incl. GST
Category 2:
Australian designed but overseas manufactured products and a mix of category goods $1.700 incl. GST
Category 3:
Other products and/or imported merchandise $1.800 incl. GST
The Stall fee includes an electricity and garbage component.
b. Staff Tickets
2 x Owner/Operator 5-day tickets are included in the Stall Fee. Please refer to the below schedule for additional staff tickets and note that these tickets are not refundable.
c. Stall Fee Estimator
Full payment of Market Stall Fee is required before 20th February 2010 by cheque payable to Bluesfest Pty Ltd. or Direct payments to Bluesfest Pty Ltd: Account details to be provided.
d. Deposit/Bond
All Market Stall applications must include a $200 cheque as Deposit/Bond. See Terms and Conditions for further details.
6. Terms and Conditions sign off
A binding agreement between the Bluesfest Pty Ltd and the Food Stall applicant exists when the Stall Holder has performed the following conditions:
- the Bond has been paid
- the Stall Holder is notified by the Festival in writing of acceptance
- the Stall Holder has received a Festival Food Stall Invoice
I, the undersigned, have read, understood and accepted all Terms and Conditions relating to Market Stall applications and I agree to comply with same Terms and Conditions. All information that I have given on this form is true and correct.
I, as the owner of the Market Stall, hereby indemnify Bluesfest Pty Ltd for any loss, damage, liability or any other action in any way resulting from my Market Stall application or use of my Market Stall Site area.

E. CHECKLIST
- Copy of your application
- Copy of your Insurance Cover note or (Certificate of Currency) with Bluesfest Pty Ltd listed as the interested party
- Detailed description of all goods on sale at your stall
- Photos drawings etc of your stall
- Bond of $200 in cheque or money order
