A few words from Festival Director Peter Noble:
Bluesfest 2011 line-up well under way
It's good to see by the great response to our Pre-Early Bird sale that many of you are getting excited about Bluesfest 2011. I can tell you we certainly are!
As you know, I like to drop a few hints in advance of our first announcement which you can expect in the next 6 to 8 weeks by the way. We are currently looking at lining up some stellar artists and bands - which is why I'm fond of saying the best Bluesfest bill is the one that never happens - because if all of this comes off folks, you just won't believe it!

No matter what becomes set in stone, we will be bringing together our trademark blend of big stars, exciting newcomers, contemporary songwriters, cult heroes, and soul legends. Our love affair with roots, folk and country rock shows no signs of abating and will be rounded out with some funk and hip-hop party boys, some dazzling world music - and a hell of a lot more.
We're also carrying on with work at Tyagarah - grading the site, adding new walking paths, general weather proofing, and council permission pending, we'll be looking at permanent lighting, toilet and shower amenities.
So until next time, stay happy and healthy and enjoy those good times!
Peter Noble
