Bluesfest at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm
3 August 2009
Dreams do come true after all: We have a new home!
We are thrilled to announce that Bluesfest will celebrate its 21st birthday at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm in 2010.;
It has been a long road to travel and we have finally been given the green light by Byron Shire Council to hold Bluesfest at its own home at Tyagarah Tee Tree Farm.
As always Bluesfest will be held over the long weekend and the dates to mark in your calendar are: Thursday 1st of April through to Monday 5th of April 2010.
So, get ready to emerge yourself into the REAL Festival experience. Settle in for 5 days of Festival fun and experience everything that Bluesfest has to offer. Our goal is to make you feel so comfortable that you do not want to leave! For a start, you will be surrounded by120 hectares of beautiful bushland and scenery. There is a magic the land holds which no doubt you will experience for yourself.
We have set aside a big section for camping which will include ample showers and toilets. In addition you will find a general store and plenty of places to buy food and drinks from. Setting up your home for 5 days and camping in real nature, right next door to where all the action takes place, is what a true Festival experience is all about.
Talking about the action: The area where Bluesfest will be held will look and feel very much the same. Yes, there will be more space, more music, more stalls, and more areas to chill out, but it is all about keeping the Bluesfest Tradition, which is about creating a peaceful, relaxed and happy home for everyone.
For those who do want to venture out, Tyagarah is only 10 kilometres north of Byron Bay and 8 kilometres south of Brunswick Heads. If you want to visit Byron Bay or any of the surrounding towns, there will be regular buses going to and from.
