The ‘Busking over Byron’ competition will be in its 7th year in 2010. Formerly known as Blues over Byron Busking Competition, it was started by the Byron CBD business community as an incentive for people to come into town to enjoy the blues over the Byron Bay Easter weekend. Through the years the town has been treated to some phenomenal talent gracing our streets and pubs as entrants give their all to win a spot on stage at the Byron Bay Bluesfest. Over the years the Busking Festival has grown thanks to our local business input and of course our major sponsors Bluesfest, Beach Hotel, Railway Hotel and Hotel Great Northern.
