REMEMBER - the 2011 Easter long weekend is 5 days, as the Monday is Anzac Day with the Easter public holiday falling on Tuesday April 26th (this holiday has been confirmed in all states except NT & QLD).

The first round of artists to perform at the 21st Anniversary Bluesfest has today been announced!

Australia's most awarded and internationally renowned festival officially begins a new era (and with any luck another excellent 21 years) with the purchase and move to its permanent new home for the 2010 event - the Tyagarah Tea Tree farm just off the Pacific Highway, 10 minutes north of Byron Bay.

If you are one of the lucky ones who has already scored yourself an Pre Early Bird or Early Bird ticket to Bluesfest 2010, and you have chosen to have your hard ticket mailed to you – don't worry, we haven't forgotten about you!

We will begin sending the hard tickets out via registered post in late November.

Registered post means we can track the whereabouts of your precious tickets at all times. You, or your trusted buddy, will need to sign for them at your local post office.

It has been a long road to travel and we have finally been given the green light by Byron Shire Council to hold Bluesfest at its own home.

As always Bluesfest will be held over the long weekend and the dates to mark in your calendar are: Thursday 1st of April through to Monday 5th of April 2010.

So, get ready to emerge yourself into the REAL Festival experience. Settle in for 5 days of Festival fun and experience everything that Bluesfest has to offer.
